The truck on the top of the home page is a bone stock 1980 J10 with a 258 and T176 4-speed. It spends most of its time hauling firewood, brush, and grandkids around my parent's old farm. The old 4-speed is so worn out that if the shift pattern isn't exaggerated with crisp 90 degree angles, the shifter will pop completely out of the transmission leaving you stuck in whatever gear you were trying to leave. That lesson was learned pretty quickly when the light turned green as you're frantically trying to seat the stick back in the shift rails.
